This is Simon!

He was brought to us at a parking lot adoption event we were attending before we started doing this regularly with the comment by thevolunteer that if we didn't take him he was going to be brought to the vet to be put down.
 
Naturally we took him as we have been taking so many dogs in similar situations after that.
At the beginning we would keep them as our pets- that is why we now have thirteen dogs!
 
He got into fights with our first rescue Ashley, but we still loved him- eventually they adjusted to each other; he didn't like being disturbed when he was sleeping on our bed, but we still loved him- I learned quickly to leave him alone when he was sleeping on the bed.
 
A relationship with a dog is forever! Even when you are angry with them they still love you as much.
 
We had Simon for a year before his untimely death. He blessed our lives for that year.
